Learn how to plant fruit trees in your garden, allotment or community space in a way that will help it to flourish. We will cover the basic considerations when selecting trees and tell you how we can provide advice.

This workshop will give you the opportunity to get hands-on experience planting a fruit tree in a community garden with guidance from the tutor. We will demonstrate the planting technique we have adapted over many years of planting, using techniques and materials which will ensure the best possible start for your trees in a variety of conditions. We will consider how to grow fruit trees in small spaces and plant cordon trees against fences, walls, etc.
