Volunteer opportunity: Juicing at Stanmer Sunday 18th August 2019

Registration is closed for this event

Juicing at Stanmer Sunday 18th August 11am - 5pm

Scrump season is here again and we have plenty of apples to juice! Learn hands on about small scale juice production, some of which we'll sell on site to the passing public, and some will be pasteurised for future sales. No experience is necessary, and new volunteers very welcome.

Please register for this task, so we know who is coming and only register if you are sure you can come.

IMPORTANT: Please do not register to take part if you are ill or have had any sickness or diarrhoea in the previous 14 days.

This session is not suitable for small children or people with a wasp allergy.

Your host

Simon Parker

When you register you will receive an email which will give you his contact phone number in case you need to call him on the day.

Practical stuff

Please bring whatever food and drink you need to sustain you for the day (please note there is a cafe opposite the Fruit Factory). Please dress for outdoor/rough work, tough shoes, suitable clothes etc. Please bring work gloves if you have any.

We are working outdoors so dress as weather conditions dictate.

We will meet at the Fruit Factory which is in Stanmer village almost opposite the cafe. See 2nd map down via this link:

If you get lost, please call Simon.

Please check emails night before in case we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances/poor weather.

Hope you can help!
